Facebook Messenger update to add redesigned home screen

I wonder if anyone at all likes the “improvements” Facebook has made to Messenger in the last six months. It used to be a simple list of your conversations with people and that was all that was needed. I don’t need to see who is active, or suggested contacts or groups. At least let people disable that.

Facebook Messenger was a decent app around 2 years ago before they decided to pork it up with the addition of games, FB stories and the like in addition to giving it the worst layout they could develop. But FB being FB doesn’t see the benefit of allowing people to disable features they do not want / will never use.

I like the blackberry hub better than this garbage.

I wish Facebook would just offer the option of a simple inbox. No groups, no rooms, no suggestions, no games, no calls, no shared nonsense, just a list of messages.
