Apple is about to hit a huge milestone: 25,000,000,000 app downloads. To celebrate this momentous occasion they’ve come back with a very similar contest from when they were about to hit the 10 billion app mark. At that time Apple was giving a $10,000 App Store Gift Card to the person who downloaded the 10 billionth app. Now, with Apple gunning towards 25 billion apps, the successful person who downloads the 25 billionth app could win the same US$10,000 App Store Gift Card. Would have been cool if it was $25,000 App Store Gift Card, I mean they have $98 billion in the bank.
The Terms and Conditions states that “the downloading of the 25 billionth app is considered to be either the downloading of the 25 billionth app from the App Store or the receipt of the non-purchase entry after the download of the 24,999,999,999th app, whichever comes first”
