Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 users will hopefully not have to wait much longer for an upgrade to OS 2.3.3 Gingerbread. Other countries have had this for weeks now but it seems that Rogers and Sony Ericsson Canada are working hard on pushing the update through, on Twitter SE stated that “To all #Xperia #X10 users waiting for the 2.3 update, we’re busy at work to fix this situation & are trying to get it resolved by next week”… so it seems that this will be definitely available sometime during the first week of September.
Hopefully the updates keep happening, Sony Ericsson announced last week that all 2011 Xperia handsets (Play, arc, Pro, Mini Pro) will all be bumped up to 2.3.4 this year.
Update: Well, so much for next week! Sony Ericsson has stated that the upgrade to OS 2.3.3 is now available… grab it here
