You can expect to see a whack more tweets and status updates from your local Member of parliament (especially during election time). The reason is because the House of Commons has approved access to both Twitter and Facebook as sites that MPs and their staff can use on their government-issued BlackBerrys. In the past those government who did tweet went through web-based versions… now the government will be installing the apps right on the device.
