Usher had a baby recently and has also signed a global partnership with Sony Ericsson to help them headline their Walkman music phone campaigns this year.
In a very strategic release with his new album called “Here I Stand”set to drop May 27th – the exclusive Sony Ericsson global partnership includes Canada, the U.S. and 20 European countries and will provide customers with access to select Usher content, promotions, exclusive competitions (including meeting Usher at a video shoot), tour dates, VIP status at concerts.
“This partnership highlights our leadership in mobile music,” says Michelle Digulla, General Manager for Sony Ericsson Canada. “We always want to give our customers more and with the Usher campaign we are poised to deliver an incredible experience including exclusive Usher content for Walkman phones, concert tickets and a chance the meet the mega star.”

Usher had the last word, revealing, “This is a great partnership for me as an artist. The Sony Ericsson brand is young and vibrant and with the new Walkman phones making a lot of noise, it’s perfect timing for us all.”
