Virgin Mobile on Monday night announced three new devices for its Re*Generation program. Alongside the Galaxy S5, Virgin Mobile will donate money from sales of the Galaxy S4, the Galaxy S3, and the upcoming Galaxy Alpha to its Re*generation program.
Launched about six years ago, Virgin’s Re*Generation program aims to find better opportunities for jobless and at-risk youth. As part of the company’s program, the company donates money from the purchase of certain handsets to its Re*Generation program.
As per the announcement from earlier this year, $15 from each Galaxy S5 purchased will be donated the the program. Virgin revealed today that it will donate $10 from each Galaxy S4 purchased and $5 from each Galaxy S3 purchased. When the Galaxy Alpha launches at the end of September, Virgin will be donating every $15 purchase.
