Despite waning in popularity, Pokémon Go remains one of the most popular mobile games ever.
Now, after months of waiting, it looks like Niantic plans to implement features players have been asking for since release. Just a few days ago, news leaked that 100 second generation Pokémon will be added to the game, and now it looks like player vs. player battles, as well as trading and even a breeding system, are all set to hit Pokémon Go.
This news stems from GamenGuide, which also mentions that egg hatching could be replaced by the new breeding system. It’s believed that all of these new additions will hit Pokémon Go at some point in December.
Perhaps most interestingly, it’s also rumoured Niantic will add a number of legendary Pokémon in December. Unfortunately, this report doesn’t mention anything about the game’s popular tracking system getting a much-needed tweak.
It’s possible that nothing will come of these rumours, but given the fact that this news has surfaced multiple times over the last few months, there’s likely some truth to them.
