Between apps from databases like IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, as well as simple old YouTube, there a lot of ways Canadian smartphone owners can stay up-to-date with the latest movie trailers. And with the release of Apple’s iTunes Movie Trailers app — previously only available in the U.S. — Canadians now have yet another way to watch new movie trailers.
The timing of the release is a bit odd considering iTunes Movie Trailers debuted in the U.S. back in 2011 and official movie trailers have been available via Siri — even in Canada — for a number of years, but if you’re looking for one place to find information about contemporary cinema, then Apple’s app is a good bet.
iTunes Movie Trailers takes advantage of several built-in iOS features like iCloud and AirDrop to allow users to save their favourite trailers across a number of devices and share trailers with friends and family members.
iTunes Movie Trailers is available to download via the iTunes App Store.
