Google made the Chomecast available to Canadians a month ago via Google Play and Amazon, but it now seems that the HDMI streaming media player available at Future Shop. The price is a buck more that Google play at $39.99 and stores have this in stock now. However, the big box retailer also notes that “Limited Quantity Available. Limit 5 per household.”

Update: Looks like parent-company Best Buy is now stocking the Chromecast. This has also arrived online for the same $39.99 price tag.
