The Nexus tablet is pretty much a guarantee to be announced at Google I/O at the end of the month, and based on photos taken by the device we know that it, well, has a camera.
Joking aside, the device model is called the Nexus 7, which implies that the Asus-made tablet is 7-inches, something we already knew. The camera looks to have a f/2.4 aperture, about standard for mid-range Asus slates, with a focal length of 2.1mm.
This is not the first time a Nexus device has been leaked via camera photos — two years ago, the Nexus S was revealed in a similar fashion. The recovery of the Android tablet market is in Google’s hands, and we’re waiting very impatiently to see how they combine what we’d assume to be the next version of Android — 4.1 Jellybean — with a 7-inch tablet.
All will be revealed on June 27th.
