Flipboard, the iOS app that turns regular daily news, tweets and links into a gorgeous flip-style magazine, has been updated to version 1.8, bringing it up to feature parity with its iPhone equivalent.
More importantly, the new version adds curated regional content, including Canadian-specific pages. We are very proud that MobileSyrup is prominently displayed under the ‘Tech & Science’ tab, alongside other publications like The Globe and Mail and Technapedia. You can customize your particular region by tapping the red ribbon on the first page, though Canada should be the default setting.
Other improvements are to image sizes and typography, both of which have been enlarged and beautified.
