Windows 10 has grown in popularity, according to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
According to GeekWire, Nadella announced at an annual shareholders meeting that Windows 10 is currently installed on 600 million devices around the world.
Microsoft reported earlier this year that Windows 10 was installed on roughly 500 million devices. Nadella’s recent announcement is an indication that more people are updating their devices to the most recent version of Windows.
While the number is certainly a significant milestone, it still falls short of the company’s goal of one billion devices that it hoped to achieve by 2017 or 2018.
Windows 10 was released to all users on July 29th, 2015.
