Despite the fact that the phone still hasn’t been officially announced, BlackBerry’s next smartphone continues to pop up on various online retailers.
The latest leak stemming from U.K.-based Pocket-Lint, however, indicates that German Media Markt has listed the DTEK60 will be released on October 25th in Canada, the U.S. and also Europe.
Earlier leaks stemming from CrackBerry via B&H Photo indicated the rumoured phone will feature higher-end specs than BlackBerry’s mid-range DTEK50, including a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution display, a fingerprint sensor, and more importantly, a Snapdragon 820 processor.
Pricing is predicted to be approximately $499 USD, which also includes a soft shell case and a BlackBerry rapid travel charger. BlackBerry has yet to confirm the phone’s existence, though if these rumours are true, the DTEK60 would be the Waterloo-based company’s first high-end smartphone since the release of the Priv.
