Rovio has brought the original Angry Birds to Windows Phone 7 and 8 users for the first time. While the platform has offered a version of Rovio’s first mobile hit for some time, it lacked many of the later levels that were available on iOS and Android.
With this new version, which comes to WP8 with Xbox Live achievements, all the content that Rovio has ever piled on top of that first set of stages is available, which equates to some 200 levels across eight worlds.
The Windows Phone 7 version lacks the Xbox Live stuff, but is otherwise identical to its dual-core equivalent.
Both apps are free until May 15th, so if you’re a fan of flinging birds at pigs, here’s your chance to relive the proverbial dream.
