Apple’s new “UFO spaceship” campus is positively enormous.
We’ve seen drone footage of the Cuptertino, California-based still under construction new head office before, but the latest fly over really puts the building’s massive scale in perspective.
The campus has reportedly cost Apple about $5 billion USD, approximately $1 billion over its original budget, and from the look of this latest footage, has more in common with a small city than a typical office.
This newest video shows off the office’s underground auditorium where it plans to reveal new products. It also revealed that about half the building is covered with massive solar panels as well as its underground parking garage, with apparently has space for 11,000 vehicles.
