Google just yesterday announced that it had started rolling out Lollipop to Nexus users. Now it looks like Nvidia Shield Tablet users won’t be too far behind. The company had already said that Android 5.0 would be arriving on the Shield Tablet this month, and now it’s given a more specific release window for the update.
In a blog post released today, the company said that the update would roll out next Tuesday, November 18th, and that the Shield would be one of the first tablets to receive Lollipop. The update will also contain a new version of Nvidia’s own Dabbler art application, which has been redesigned for Material Design and now supports layers and live sessions over Twitch.
And so the number of Lollipop-equipped devices slowly grows. The OS update is rolling out to US Moto G and Moto X users this week, and LG has confirmed that G3 users in Poland are now receiving the software.
