The Sony Xperia Z3 is now available for pre-order on Sony’s Canadian web store for $699.99, confirming rumours of its unlocked pricing.
With an October 31st release date, we’re still a good two weeks away from its Canadian debut, but Sony fans can be assured to own one of the first Xperia Z3’s, in either black, white or copper, by dropping $700 for the unlocked handset.
With a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a 2.5Ghz Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 20.7MP camera sensor and wide-angle G Lens and up to two days of battery life, the Xperia Z3 is a pretty impressive smartphone.
The $699.99 price is identical to that of the Xperia Z2, which is either going to disappear or be heavily discounted. The Xperia Z3 Compact, also coming to Canada, will likely be sold unlocked for $599.99.
We’ll have a review in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
