Motorola Moto G users are receiving a small bug fix update today to version 173.44.30.en.CA, solving a number of small issues that cropped up after the initial Android 4.4.2 release last month.
The main resolution was an issue with dropped voice and data connections caused by a bug in the baseband. Though it only affected a small number of people, it was one of those frustrating, vexing issues that needed to be dealt with quickly.
The rest are slightly less severe: an fix for wallpaper cropping; better USB OTG support; improved call volume; and a TELUS and Koodo-specific problem with ending phone calls.
The 8.5MB update is available now: just head to Settings/About phone/Software updates and download away.
