Here’s another round of cases that are rumoured to be for the upcoming iPhone 5. Unconfirmed pictures of a silicone case and a hard case reveal that the next iPhone might shape out to be 5-inches tall and 2.8-inches wide (iPhone 4 is 4.5 inches and 2.31 inches), so most likely a bigger screen and overall thinner… just like all the previous reports stated. In addition, 9to5Mac states that there’s a slight “tear drop” in the case design, implying that the iPhone 5 might go “thick to thin from top to bottom”.
As for all the ports and buttons, the speakers and USB port are still at the bottom, while the case shows the ringer switch has moved away from the volume buttons to the right hand side. Basically everywhere else stays the same. A bigger, thinner and wider Apple iPhone… surely Samsung will be comparing its design to the Galaxy S II. A few more pics are after the break:
