Deus Ex Go, the latest entry in Square Enix Montreal’s ongoing Go series, will arrive on iOS and Android this Thursday, the studio announced last week.
Announced in June at E3 2016, the game tasks players with helping Adam Jensen, the protagonist of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the upcoming Mankind Divided (voiced by Canadian born Elias Toufexis), navigate the game’s boardgame-like levels.
According to the Square Enix Montreal, Deux Ex Go features some of the “most challenging” puzzles the studio has designed. “With Deus Ex Go, we really want to take the Go series to another level,” said Square Enix Montreal head Patrick Naud in an interview with Gamespot.
“Building on the learnings of Hitman Go and Lara Croft Go, our goal is to push the experience a step further in terms of visual treatment and game design in order to bring you a fresh, reimagined puzzle experience that celebrates the franchise.”
Square Enix has yet to announce a price tag for the title, but if the publisher’s previous games are any indication, then Deus Ex Go should cost about $6.99 in Canada.
Expect to see a review on MobileSyrup when the game launches later this week.
