If you’re into seeing the inside of a smartphone, specifically Google’s latest collaboration with Motorola, then iFixIt has all your viewing pleasure in the form of pictures and video of the Nexus 6.
The latest Google smartphone of the year has been subjected to the now-standard teardown process and has scored a 7 out of 10 on the repairability scale (with 10 being the easiest to repair). Apparently the most challenging components to replace are the digitizer and the ports as they are soldered directly to the motherboard. iFixIt also noted that the plethora of screws (23 to be exact) used to build the Nexus 6 is somewhat unconventional as most smartphones use adhesive or plastic clips to combine the front and back panels.
