LG confirmed today that the follow-up to the G2 will be known as the LG G3. This is a surprise to no one as rumours have been circulating for weeks. Over the weekend the first image of this pending flagship leaked online and revealed that it’ll potentially come to market with the familiar back control buttons.
Today, via reputable device leaker @evleaks, another image has surfaced that gives an extreme close-up. As stated before, the G3 looks like it’ll be slimmer as the power lacks the humps of its predecessor, and the volume up/volume down buttons now sport a circular design. There is no indication on what the camera will be, presumably packed with more features than the G2’s 13MP rear camera and OIS, but on the right hands side of the buttons is an LED flash and possibly an IR blaster.
Recent leaks of the G3 point towards the device coming with a 5.5-inch display with an impressive 2560×1440 resolution, running a customized and flat version of OS 4.4 KitKat.
