Microsoft is looking at Canada to help boost their Q4 sales. In addition to their first retail location in Toronto’s Yorkdale Mall, Microsoft announced today that they’ll be opening four “pop-up” stores across various Canadian cities. The following locations will have a “Microsoft Store” that will sell several Microsoft-branded products, eventually even the upcoming Windows 8 Surface tablet:
– Burnaby, British Columbia (Metropolis at Metrotown)
– Edmonton, Alberta (West Edmonton Mall)
– Toronto, Ontario (Eaton Centre)
– Vancouver, British Columbia (Oakridge Centre)
There’s no specific dates of when the stores will open, but in a statement Microsoft noted that “these holiday stores will allow customers to have hands-on experience with and identify the best Microsoft products for their personal and gift-giving needs.”
