Glu Mobile, the studio responsible for games like Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and Nicki Minaj: The Empire, is working with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to make a mobile wrestling game. The game is set to feature WWE superstars, logos and will include one-touch gameplay functionality.
The game will feature WWE legends such as The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H and The Rock. Additionally, it will include current leading WWE superstars such as Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and the one and only John Cena.
“As a leader in sports entertainment, WWE features an enormous universe of WWE Superstars and ever-evolving storylines,” said Chris Akhavan, Glu’s Chief revenue officer in a press release. “We can’t wait to translate the emotional connection WWE has with its audience into a mobile game that fans are going to love.”
The mobile game is slated for a global release in 2018, with further information regarding the game’s development being released at a later date.
