Rogers has announced their HSPA+ coverage has been expanded to cover 97% of the Manitoba population (quick stat: as of January 1st, 2011 the population was 1,243,700). Download speeds in the province now can up to 21 Mbps and this also brings tablets, the iPhone, various BlackBerry and Android-powered devices.
The new coverage map is above and this has been a long journey for Manitobans. Darrell Graham, Rogers Manitoba VP proudly stated that “Welcome to the world of choice, speed and innovation, Manitoba. Customers have been telling us they want a faster network in more places and more selection of mobile devices.”
