Google has pulled the Pixel and Pixel XL from the Google Store.
It’s time to pour one out because it looks like Google’s first flagship smartphone is officially dead — at least as far as the Google Store is concerned.
Further, the Pixel and Pixel have reached ‘end of life’ status at a number of Canadian carriers, including Rogers and Bell.
With the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL now a few months old, it makes sense for Google to be sending the original Pixel line to what feels like a reasonably timely end.
There are also rumours swirling that Google is preparing to release a mid-range Pixel device at some point in the near future.
