In early September, Samsung released the Galaxy Tab S 10.4 with LTE in Canada on Rogers, Bell, and TELUS. Now TELUS has announced that the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE is launching on its network.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 was announced earlier this year and released in mid-June alongside the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. However, the LTE versions were no where to be seen until last month. Now both models are available with LTE in Canada.
LTE connectivity aside, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 packs an 8.4-inch 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED display with a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, an 8MP camera in the back, a 2.1MP camera up front, a fingerprint scanner, a 4,900 mAh battery, and NFC.
TELUS has the Samsung Tab S 8.4 LTE priced at $100 up-front plus $20 per month on a two year term through its Easy Tablet program. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE is priced at $580 outright.
