After several updates Twitter has finally brought push notifications to the Windows Phone app. This has long been desired by users, actually ever since the app was released in 2010. You can now get notified when you receive a new mention, direct message, Retweet, favourite, or a new follower. In addition, the Live Tile on your homescreen will flip when you activate any of the above.
