BlackBerry’s second Android device has been available unlocked for $429 through the ShopBlackBerry for two weeks, but not it looks like the handset could be making its way to carriers.
When the mid-range DTEK50 was initially announced just a few weeks ago, BlackBerry stated that the phone would be available Canadian carriers, including Rogers, Bell, Telus, Wind Mobile, Videotron and SaskTel, at some point “in the coming weeks.”
Now, Wind Mobile has posted an updated on its site that revealing that the DTEK 50 is “coming soon” to the carrier. Unfortunately, other than this information, nothing is known regarding a solid release date or pricing for BlackBerry’s security-focused mid-range device.
