Promised way back in the balmy days of October, Imangi Studios has finally brought Temple Run 2 to Windows Phone 8, with initial support for devices with 1GB of RAM such as the Nokia Lumia 920 and 1020.
The free-to-play game operates identically to its Android and iOS counterparts, including the in-app purchases, and expands upon the original’s swipe-and-tilt gameplay, adding new characters and settings.
The game initially only supports Windows Phone 8 devices with 1GB of RAM, but Microsoft evangelist Joe Belfiore says that 512MB support is coming. Temple Run 2 comes with Xbox Live support, too, adding to the small-but-growing library of games that reward users for various achievements.
