Wind’s new Everywhere 45 and Everywhere 60 promotional plans are now live. As we reported in a previous post, they feature built-in US and Canada roaming.
The Everywhere 45 plan includes 5 GB of data, unlimited calling to Canada and the US and unlimited international texting on Wind’s home network (the areas in Canada where Wind has infrastructure). On Wind’s away network (the areas in Canada and the US where Wind does not have infrastructure) the plan allots 2400 minutes of Canada and US calling, international text and pay-per-use data at the rate of five cents per MB.
The Everywhere 60 plan includes 10 GB of data, unlimited calling to Canada and the US and unlimited international texting on the home network. On the away network, it allots 2400 minutes of Canada and US calling, international text and 1 GB of data.
These plans may throw light on Wind’s new pricing strategy under Shaw’s management.
The company currently has approximately 940,000 wireless subscribers across Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta.
