Twitter Canada finally has a new boss.
Rory Capern, who is currently head of partnerships at Google Canada, will join the company in mid-February to take over as general manager of Twitter Canada.
Twitter’s northern outpost has been without an in-country leader since its previous general manager, Kirstine Stewart, was promoted to vice-president of North American media in September 2014. The hiring was announced today via the company’s own social media platform.
Excited to be joining the great team @TwitterCanada as their new managing director. Thanks @googlecanada for an amazing 5 years
