Steve Jobs must be happy with the first weekend results of the iPhone 4! Apple sent out a press release today that said they have “sold over 1.7 million of its iPhone 4 through Saturday, June 26, just three days after its launch on June 24”. Huge – 1.7 million! Jobs stated “This is the most successful product launch in Apple’s history. Even so, we apologize to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply.”
Speaking of not enough supply. There has been rumours that there might be a delay of the new iPhone 4 coming to Canada but the release also said that we can expect it here “by the end of July”. Sounds good! That’s only 4 weeks away now. Carriers that have confirmed selling the iPhone 4 are TELUS, Rogers, Bell, Virgin and Fido. Still waiting to hear from SaskTel.
