Before the iPhone 4S was known as the iPhone 4S, Aatma Studio created a cool concept of the “iPhone 5”. This came in being thinner, had the rumoured “edge-to-edge” display and also packed a laser keyboard. Just in time for the March 7th Apple “iPad 3” announcement Aatma is back with a concept of what they’d like the next-gen tablet to look like: 3D game play, edge-to-edge display, ability to connect other iPads together and share info via NFC.
Mashable has an interview with Pramod Modi Shantharam, CEO and animation director at Aatma, who stated that “Although the tablet form factor is great, we felt the need for a larger visual real estate. We eliminated the black border of current iPad and thought it would be a great visual experience for users who bring their iPads together utilizing their internal magnets.”
Impressive and would actually change everything if this is what Apple would launch. Unfortunately, it won’t. However, the rumoured specs have it coming with a better display, more powerful processor, better camera, LTE – and even a bit thicker. Check out the concept below.
