Just three weeks ago, Google overhauled its stock camera experience with a better UI, improved autofocus and a new feature called Lens Blur.
This week, they’re updating the app to add a feature that was previously available in the older version: photo-taking while recording video.
It appears that Google blew up the old app, paring the feature set down to a bare minimum, with the intention of slowly and methodically adding them back over time. This is similar to the way Apple overhauled its iWork apps for iOS last year, including iMovie and iPhoto.
