Huawei is set to replace its good-looking Ascend P6 smartphone with something that looks awfully similar, if these leaks are to be believed.
Scheduled to be announced next week in Paris, the Ascend P7 resembles a taller version of the P6, which sports a combination metal and plastic finish on the sides and back. This version will apparently have a glass back and a more premium feel.
The device will reportedly have a 5-inch 1920×1080 pixel display, a quad-core HiSilicon processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera (!), with Android 4.4.2 KitKat underneath Huawei’s ever-divisive Emotion UI.
No word on price or availability, but we’re not expecting a full rollout in Canada, though it may be offered unlocked in some places.
