There have been many devices that have been put through the ringer in various drop tests… basically showing they can handle the daily bumps, scratches and dust/dirt. One company goes as far as blending/destroying devices but that shows how powerful their blender is. G-Form makes protective gear for sports (cycling, boarding etc) but have expanded the lineup to make cases for the iPad. The “Extreme Sleeve” is now available for pre-order ($59.99) but it truly protects the tablet. They have a couple videos out and shows how it handles a bowling ball being dropped on it from 12-feet and also being chucked out of a plane from 500-feet in the air. No scratches or breaks.
