OnePlus 3 leaks one last time before June 14 launch

OnePlus 3

One day prior to its official launch date, the OnePlus 3 has leaked once again.

The leaked photos come courtesy of Chinese social media website Weibo and serial leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer. The photos show, in the clearest detail we’ve seen yet, the front and back of the soon-to-be-announced device, including its front-facing fingerprint scanner and HTC One M9-like unibody construction.

According to past leaks, many of them coming from Hemmerstoffer’s frenemy Evan Blass, the OnePlus 3 is expected to ship with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 16 megapixel main camera and 3,000mAh battery. The phone is set to run Android 6.0.1.

In any case, we won’t have to wait much longer to see whether the above images and the ones we’ve seen in the past are real; OnePlus is scheduled to officially announce the OnePlus 3 tomorrow during a special virtual reality launch event. Moreover, in contrast to multiple OnePlus product launches in the past, Canadians will be able to buy the OnePlus 3 without an invite.
