Leaked images show powered-on OnePlus 3, benchmark confirms 6GB RAM version

New images of the OnePlus 3 have surfaced, including the first picture of the phone powered on. Additionally, a benchmark on GFX Bench has reinforced the notion that OnePlus will be producing a version of its latest headlining phone with 6GB of RAM.

The pictures, which stem from a lesser-known mobile tipster known as “The Malignant” on Twitter, appear to be inline with previous leaks, lending the shots credibility. The pictures show an all-metal construction and front-facing fingerprint sensor but curiously, no OnePlus logo. The leakster states this is because it is a “pre-retail” model.

As for the RAM rumours, the phone apparently passed through GFX Bench, revealing 6GB of RAM. This confirms the information published by Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA, which showed a 4GB and 6GB version.

The benchmarking site also shows the OnePlus 3 as running Android 6.0.1 and having a Snapdragon 820 processor, approximately 64GB of storage, a 15 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5.5-inch 1080 display, all of which has been more-or-less predicted by previous leaks. The phone is set to be released on June 14th.
