Samsung announces Unpacked event for August 29th, practically screams Galaxy Note 2

OK, it’s official: the Galaxy Note 2 is coming on August 29th. Don’t believe us? Take a look at the above invitation for a Samsung Unpacked event at Berlin’s IFA Conference on Wednesday, August 29th.

“When Magical Moments Come Alive” it states, showing off a magic wand that resembles a stylus, or perhaps the other way around. It’s also possible that the event will announce the immediate availability of the Galaxy Note 10.1, which was announced in February but has since gone through numerous changes and improvements on its way to market.

To recap, the Galaxy Note 2 is expected to be much more compact than its predecessor, but should sport a 5.5-inch screen with a similar 1280×800 pixel screen. We know that it will also rock a 1.6Ghz quad-core Exynos processor and, perhaps, 2GB of RAM and optional LTE support. What other magic Samsung has in store for us — Jelly Bean; non-PenTile Super AMOLED Plus HD display; lasers? — is anyone’s guess.

Excited for the Galaxy Note 2? We certainly are!

  2. Negri Electronics are going to start shipping the Note 10.1 in two days so I guess that rules out the tablet and only leaves the Note 2

    • Agree with you Apple Sales Guy. Apple is a great magician and does magical things. They know how to make things and people disappear after they pull the most magical trick like steal or buy their products and ideas and pass it on as their own. Then like the real magician they pull back the covers to reveal the trick. The stolen products and ideas but put bells like Siri.
      The fans of course go crazy. It’s the craziest magical trick they’ve ever seen.
      And like a true magician they don’t reveal how the trick is done like we came up with this product/idea by using our mounds of cash to make it happen. We will pay anyone off and trick all the Apple product owners that we are the greatest magician ever. And of course you and all the Apple Lovers go home happy.
