Virgin Samsung Galaxy 550 launching November 20th with exclusive plan

The Virgin Mobile news keeps coming… we first posted that they were going to release the Android 2.1 Samsung Galaxy 550 on November 12th, then got moved to November 15th but it now seems that the availability date is on November 20th (Saturday). Virgin states in the doc we received that this device is “Launching November 20, 2010, The Samsung Galaxy 550 is EXCLUSIVE to Virgin Mobile! In fact, it’s so exclusive it has its own NEW plan!”

We’ve got the details on the plan too (similar to the recent Android Super Social plan). Check out the image after the break, but it it states the following:

“This new plan is EXCLUSIVELY for the Samsung Galaxy 550, but it’s only available for a limited time!
The $40 “Android Social 40 – 300″ plan includes:
•Available for new and existing Members
•300 Anytime Minutes
•100MB of Data
•Unlimited local incoming
•Unlimited weekends and evenings starting at 7pm
•Choice of unlimited text & picture messaging OR Voicemail 10 & Call Display
•Included in the International Text Promo
•All this for just $40 per month!
*The Galaxy 550 is also available on the Android Social Plan for ALL Androids
*Grouping for this plan is Smartphone

    An exclusive plan with a meagre 100 MB of data? How is that even usable?

      if you do it like me.. use mainly wifi and occasional data… it will actually work

      but you might not get the full taste of internet in your pants, i mean your hands!

    If 100mb is not enough just go with the smartphone 50 with 500MB and 50 more minutes, or the new student 55 with my10 and 1GB

    i went by vergin yesterday when tha galaxy S was launched and they tryed to play dumb.. Whats that phone? we dont know anything about tha galaxy S.. etc ? but they had two dummies of this crap phone on display and tryed to sell me on it? and its not even out yet..?
    i even showed tha kid tha vergin website listing tha galaxy S and he’s like Oh well we dont have it yet…

    not that i would go with vergin.. lol

    What is nice is that you won’t need to get a data plan if you want it. So you can get it at $25/month plan if you want. wifi included
