The mobile variant of Google’s Chrome web browser is going to turn sharing links into a much cleaner experience.
As of Chrome v64, links will automatically be shortened when users attempt to share lengthy URLs through the browser’s ‘Share’ menu.
Of course, Chrome won’t shorten links that are already a reasonable length. Additionally, manually copying and pasting a URL prevents Chrome from shortening links.
