LG G Flex launching in the United States and Europe, no plans yet for Canada

At CES 2014 LG announced plans to launch the G Flex in the United States via T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T within the next few weeks. Yesterday, LG also declared that the the curved G Flex will also arrive at over 20 European markets in February.

Unfortunately, Canada seems to be left out of any imminent plans to release this device. We reached out to LG and a rep noted that “there are no plans” yet for the G Flex to come to Canada.

The G Flex is a unique device as it has a top-to-bottom curved 6-inch 720p OLED display. Other notable specs are a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera and a 2.1MP front-facing camera, plus a curved 3,500 mAh battery, running Android OS 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

With the pending release of the G3, is this something you want or are you waiting for the next version to be announced?
