TELUS has once again updated their device OS upgrade schedule, now showing the latest date of August 9th. A few updates on the list, but most have stayed the same. The LG Optimus LTE is expected to be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich on August 20th, Bell pushed this through yesterday. The HTC Surround 7 is on track to get Tango any day now, staring “mid-August.” However, a bit of a downer for tablet users as the upgrade to OS 4.0 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Tab 8.9 LTE have both been slotted for September, used to be August.

Still waiting for the Wifi version to come out. It has been released in the UK but not in North America yet. Very disappointed by Samsung.

    love my nexus!
    no bloatware
    fast updates!

It will definitely come. The US wifi tabs were updated yesterday. All in all it’s an ok update. Definitely makes it snappier, but it still has the touchwiz garbage which really takes away from ICS.

If you know how to use ODIN, you can download the ICS update for both P7500 and p7510 off XDA, and install it on your tablet!

Waiting for the WIFI update. US got it today…

So, arguably, the people paying the most for the Galaxy Tabs (the ones paying at least $20 a month on a 3-year contract) are the ones getting shafted the most.

    Good to know.
