Bell Q1 Results: 366,000 activations, revenues increase 3.5%

bellimagenewlogoFollowing on the heals of taking over Virgin Mobile, Bell has released their Q1 2009 results.

Wireless operating revenues grew by 3.5% to $1,079 million, Postpaid and prepaid ARPU decreased by $1.93 and $1.12 to $62.34 and $15.38. Total gross activations were 366,000 this quarter, an increase of 4.3% from Q1 of last year. Postpaid net activations grew by 7,000 to 35,000. And finally, the Bell Wireless client base reached 6,527,000 at the end of the quarter.
