Rogers announces 3.5G network

rogerslogoRogers has announced that their network just got faster and become the first North American carrier with the availability of its 3.5 G network. Download speeds on your cellphone, smartphone or laptop can now reach 7.2Mbps. Initially rolled out in Canada’s top 25 markets  with other locations will be included by the end of December 2008.

    1. Wow, that’s faster than my home DSL line. Great news! Too bad my iPhone can’t take advantage of it.

      Just wondering why your iPhone 3G CAN’T take advantage of it ???

      It says right in the press release that only certain devices can take advantage of it. The “3.5G” devices are listed, and the iPhone is not one of them.
