Though LG has not yet released information about Canadian availability and pricing, Quebec-based carrier Videotron sent MobileSyrup a note stating that it will be “the exclusive carrier to offer LG V20 in Quebec. ”
It’s unclear how long the exclusivity lasts or what this implies for Bell, Rogers, Telus and their sub-brands, or the regional carriers such as MTS, SaskTel, Eastlink or Wind Mobile. Considering the positive buzz surrounding the new device, one can only hope it doesn’t mean a light investment in inventory due to the critical panning and poor sales of the LG G5.
The LG V20 was debuted on September 6th, featuring a dual-lens camera, 32-bit Hi-Fi DAC and secondary display, among other multimedia-focused features.
