Google launches redesigned Developer Policy Center

Google has just rolled out a major redesign of its Developer Policy Center.

The website, which articulates the company’s Android app guidelines, has a new system of organization that groups major policies into specific categories like “Enforcement,” “Monetization and Ads” and “Privacy and Security”. Google has also revised much of the language found within the site, making it easier to understand.

Where applicable, the company has also provided visual examples to help developers avoid potential pitfalls. The ads section, for instance, has examples of deceptive and disruptive ads.

Not coincidently, the redesigned website also puts the company’s Material Design aesthetic front and centre.
