New entrant Mobilicity seems to be making one final big push to bring in subscribers before the end of the month. They have come out with a new $100 port-in credit offer once again. It’s only good for the next 4 days and they state that customers who make the switch will “receive a $100 credit when you sign up for our $40 Ultimate Unlimited Plan. Or, receive a $50 credit when you sign up to select Mobilicity Rate Plans”. Both good considering their discounted handsets (Nexus S for $350) and the $25 Student plan… something to certainly consider. The fine print says the credit will be spread out over 5 months in equal installments.

phoneguy – ask Alex if anyone responded to his letter asking the big three to buy his company. Ask him how many dealer’s leases is he paying for? PM IS DEAD. THEY ARE GOING BANKRUPT. NO SUBS AND BIG CHURN EQUALS NO BUSINESS

Wait… 55$ for unlimited EVERYTHING including data?? Am I missing something here? for that price, in Quebec, all we get is 200min, unlimited text, my10, and 1GB of data. No voicemail or caller ID.

i don’t understand why people don’t like competition? This benifits the consumer. Unless the majority of people here who are complaining are just employees from the companies involved and going on a schlong measuring competition.
Competition leads to innovation and consumer freedom. Just look at how Microsoft has been forced to react to MacOS, Linux and now android eating away at their heals. Now we got Windows 7 and the soon to be released beast that is Windows 8.
Competition is good.

at Douglas, Think Wind is smart and become national carrier?
and Mobi Public gone? you sure do not know how the market rolls. Study more, read a lot more news and come back and read your own comment again, you would feel stupid.
