BlackBerry Storm2 9550 now available at Bell

Staying true to the date we posted back in March, Bell has officially released the BlackBerry Storm2 9550.

The Storm2 9550 works on their CDMA network and comes with a 3.25-inch display (resolution of 480 X 360), WiFi, OS 5.0, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and auto focus, 3.5mm headset jack, Speakerphone, RIM’s SurePress technology, virtual QWERTY keyboard, 2 GB Internal/256 MB Flash and can hold up to 16GB with a microSD card, full HTML browser, Speakerphone, GPS, plus all your e-mail/texting/BBM etc…

This can be yours on the following price plans:
$199.95 on 3-year contract
$399.95 on 2-year contract
$499.95 on 1-year contract
$549.95 no contract

  5. storms were never a succes as blackberry phones they would rather stick to sensor button and qwerty keyboards way better and sicker

  8. Does Bells release mean that Sasktel’s is right around the corner?

    Jump.ca has had the notification of the S2 on their site for a month and a half… and Bell is the provider of Sasktel’s devices, I believe.

This phone should be offered at $50 bucks with a contract because it runs on CDMA.. and the phone is CDMA most probably because RIM initially designed this phone mainly for Verison Wireless but since Bell still has and will have their CDMA network running for about another 4 to 5 years its smart to pick this phone up but if Bell is smart they will sell this phone at cost price without making any profit on it (only because its CDMA) to attract some new customrs.. and make their profit off of 3 year voice and data revenues..
